In 2012 Wendy Murdoch performed a simple experiment placing an unstable surface underneath a horse’s hoof. In 15 seconds the results were so profound she created the SURE FOOT Equine Stability Program and SURE FOOT Equine Pads.
Daisy Bicking, noted farrier, educator and owner of Daisy Haven Farm in Pennsylvania talks about a horse that is now rideable again after combining her work with SURE FOOT both while being trimmed and by the owner who continues to use the SURE FOOT pads with her horse.
Almost three years ago I conducted a simple experiment. I placed a balance pad under a horse’s hoof. I had no preconceived notion as to what might happen, but I was curious to find out. The results were so astounding that I have spent the past three years experimenting, exploring and refining what I now call the SURE FOOT® Equine Stability Program.
We love when our fellow SURE FOOTers take the time to experiment with their horses, jot down their thoughts and send us a note. SURE FOOT is for the horses, and together we can collaborate and explore new ideas to make this program an even bigger success for our equines!
Diesel had a habit of shying. He would shy at poles on the ground and objects that he had been exposed to many times before. When we introduced him to the SURE FOOT® pads he was very mistrustful.
Mugsy Dehere is a 6 year old OTTB and a SURE FOOT junkie. As a racehorse Mugsy was very, very girthy and had to be tacked up while walking. He reared whenever someone attempted to saddle him while he was tied or standing still.
Susan brought Dante to me 5 years ago because he was lame hoping I could help him using my skills as a Feldenkrais Practitioner®. For three years both he and Susan made steady progress, not only becoming sound but also successfully showing in Dressage.
